Well, here I am at Day 13... still at it. To be completing honest, I'm not loving what the scale is saying, but I WILL NOT GIVE UP!!!
I'm actually feeling much stronger every day! I'm working out six days a week with one day off to rest. I've just started mixing in a weight-lifting class. I plan to do that 3 days a week to build up strength and to have it help boost my metabolism.
Gotta say... I'm loving the group exercise classes. The instructors will push you harder than you'll ever push yourself. Plus, I'm uber competitive, so not keeping up with others is NOT an option. I'll do it or die!! Just a tip... Don't ever play a board game with me. I play TO WIN! Hehe. (But seriously, I will take you down!)
A huge shout out to all of you fighting the good fight to get healthy this year. I see you in the gym doing your thang and not worrying about what others think! It takes guts to put on those crazy tight workout clothes and strut into public(obviously, men design workout bras... Holy crap, I need a system of levers and pulleys to get that thing off when I'm sweaty!!!). It takes guts to go into a workout class with 75% of the people in it already looking like they stepped out of a fitness magazine. It takes guts to stick to it and make a commitment to yourself. I applaud you all! We got this... This is our year!!
